Aims
The aim of the Honours Program in Geography and Environmental Studies is to provide students who have completed to a sufficiently high standard all the requirements of the Geography and Environmental Studies major of the Bachelor of Arts, or another qualification which the Dean (Education) agrees is equivalent, the opportunity to pursue relevant research project and coursework that will prepare them for higher degree study.
Learning outcomes
On completion students will be able to:

Develop, manage and communicate the outcomes of a research project in a timely manner
2.
Defend their thorough understanding of the method and meaning of completing an extended piece of research, including ethical considerations of carrying out research
3.
Model a sound understanding of the theories, concepts and required ethical approaches relevant to an area of specialised study
