Aims
The Honours program is designed to allow more capable students to extend their undergraduate career by demonstrating their ability to work in a research environment. In particular the Honours program provides experience in research design, critical analysis of information, data management and theory generation using both qualitative and quantitative methods.
Learning outcomes
On completion students will be able to:
1.
Apply basic knowledge to specific health issues and hence be prepared to undertake a research project in their field of interest
2.
Pursue postgraduate research study
3.
Undertake a research project that involves clinical, quantitative or qualitative methods
4.
Present their findings to the academic community
5.
Possess the skills to apply for and prepare research grants
