Aims
The honours program aims to:
- Extend the knowledge and ability of students to enable them to work in a research environment
- Expose students to a range of qualitative and quantitative methodologies and analysis
- Provide a pathway for research-oriented undergraduates to pursue postgraduate research study and prepare them for a career in research and development
- Provide students with the cognitive skills and ability to apply advanced knowledge to solve specific problems
- Provide students with fundamental research skills and principles that can be used beyond a research setting
Learning outcomes
On completion students will be able to:

Demonstrate advanced knowledge and cognitive skills to exercise critical thinking and judgement in developing new understanding
2.
Demonstrate research skills to review, analyse, consolidate and synthesise knowledge and identify and provide solutions to complex problems
3.
Plan, carry out and report on an in-depth analytical research study in an area of educational interest
