Aims
The minor aims to:
- Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the challenges, opportunities and complexities of leadership in rural and remote contexts with a particular focus on supporting education in rural and remote communities
- Provide knowledge, skills and dispositions for pro-active, innovative and relational leadership which builds teams
- Provide knowledge and skills for governing in diverse communities
Learning outcomes
On completion students will be able to:

Demonstrate significant and relevant knowledge about rural and remote contexts

Make informed decisions from a range of approaches and models for leadership in rural and remote contexts
3.
Analyse the historical and current contextual factors influencing rural education and respond to current research and scholarship related to leading in rural and regional contexts
