This pathway aims to outline sports business principles and practices by exploring the following:
- Concepts and tools used in marketing management
- Psychological and sociological underpinnings of creativity through the application of creativity techniques to real-world challenges
- Interpersonal communication, teamwork and professional presentation skills in a workplace context
- Principles and practices of managing a diverse workforce in the social, business and legal context
- Marketing practices for sports products, sports teams, and various stakeholders linked to sports management
- Internal factors that impact sports business operations, logistics and supply chain management
- Leadership theories and practices and how they apply in sports settings
- Implications of advanced technologies, transformative business models and national/domestic digitalisation policies and strategies for the future of work in modern-day workplaces
