Aims

Understand the diverse learning needs, abilities, and backgrounds of students, including those with disabilities, cultural and linguistic differences, and other diverse learning profiles.

Equip pre-service teachers with a broad range of inclusive teaching methods, strategies, and resources that accommodate diverse learners with a focus on differentiated instruction, Universal Design for Learning (UDL), and other approaches to meet the needs of all students.

Encourage pre-service teachers to actively advocate for educational equity, ensuring that all learners, regardless of their background or ability, have access to high-quality learning opportunities.

Equip pre-service teachers with the skills to assess individual learning needs and progress, with an emphasis on non-biased, culturally responsive assessment practices. 

Encourage pre-service teachers to view inclusive education as an ongoing process of learning, adaptation, and growth with a commitment to on-going professional development and engagement with current best practice research.
