Aims

The course aims to:

  • Develop and apply creativity and strategic thinking in the design and analysis of creative and cultural industries sector projects and events
  • Promote the ability to work with digital technologies and applicationst
  • Provide experience in working independently and collaboratively as part of a small team

Learning outcomes

On completion of the course you will be able to:

Apply theoretical frameworks in the analysis of creative industries projects and events

Critically appraise creative industries projects and events in terms of their cultural and societal outcomes

Design creative industries projects and events while working independently and collaboratively

Critically assess the cultural contexts for the creative arts and industries

Combine skills in creative development and project management and apply them to deliver small-scale projects
