Aims
The Flinders Foundation Studies Program aims to familiarise students with the University environs, its processes and protocols, and its standards of academic scholarship. It aims to:
- Build confidence and self-efficacy in the student cohort
- Familiarise students with the way the University works, its organisational structures and behavioural expectations
- Develop academic and numerical literacy skills to a level commensurate with commencing university study
- Develop students' confidence and competence in using digital technologies
- Provide opportunities for students to demonstrate their written and oral communication skills
- Provide opportunities for students to develop their critical thinking and problem solving skills
Learning outcomes
On completion of the course you will be able to:

Navigate the University environment while demonstrating knowledge and understanding of the University's systems

Explain your use of a range of digital technologies which enhance your academic outcomes both confidently and effectively

Model assessment task instructions to create and appropriately submit assessable work in a range of formats and using multiple media
