This award aims to provide students with:
- An extended knowledge of both the theoretical and practical aspects of data analytics and recent developments in the field
- A mastery of the tools and technologies used in the professional application of data analytics approaches
- A demonstrated understanding of professional and ethical responsibilities and a commitment to them
- An ability to critically analyse and evaluate data stores to creatively solve enterprise problems
- An awareness of social, economic, cultural and environmental aspects of data analytics
- An understanding of the need for lifelong learning and the capacity to do so in the context of ensuring sustained relevancy of skills for future professional roles as a data analyst.
