Aims
This course aims to provide students with:
- The knowledge and skills to be able to research, write, design and produce communication content for a range of media platforms
- Knowledge of business concepts relevant to media and communication practices
- The ability to adapt written style for different audiences and purposes
- Research, analytical and problem solving skills
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Knowledge of media and communication workplaces and their contexts
- Knowledge of the impact of globalisation on communication
- Knowledge of the practical skills in the production of digital, print and broadcast texts
- Knowledge of the value of ethical behaviour
