Aims
This course aims to provide an expanded understanding of end-of-life care across health and community sectors that will enable students to confidently apply knowledge and skills to palliative and end-of-life care.
Learning outcomes
On completion of the course you will be able to:
1.
Synthesise evidence to inform implementation of quality care
2.
Demonstrate skills in critical self-reflection that have application to your discipline and interdisciplinary clinical practice
3.
Critically analyse a palliative approach to care in a range of contexts and settings that considers the needs of the individual, families and carers
Student progression rules
Failure to complete the course within four consecutive semesters or the award of a grade of Fail (F) in the same topic on more than one occasion or in 13.5 units or more, may constitute prima facie evidence of unsatisfactory progress for the purposes of the University's Policy on Student Progress.
