Aims
This topic has three aims:
- Enhance students' ability to communicate, publish and present research for academia and industry
- Develop students' interpersonal skills and applicability in professional contexts
- Increase students’ leadership capabilities and appreciation of diverse leadership styles
Learning outcomes
On completion of this topic you will be expected to be able to:
1.
Communicate research to diverse audiences in both written and verbal form
2.
Recognise the importance of interpersonal skills in diverse professional contexts and reflect on your own level of interpersonal competency and ways to further develop these skills
3.
Evaluate different leadership and communication styles and use understanding of your own style and capacity to become a more effective leader
