Aims

This topic aims to introduce students to professional practice in supporting people with disability and provide opportunities to apply and build foundation skills as a competent practitioner through hands on experience with people living with disabilities.

Learning outcomes

On completion of this topic you will be expected to be able to:

Demonstrate critical and reflective thinking processes to evaluate one’s own professional practice and performance

Communicate respectfully and professionally with people living with disabilities and significant others through effective inter-professional practice
