This topic aims to provide students with the opportunity to:
- Apply strategies to increase opportunities for learning and independence for individuals living with disability
- Identify models of instruction such as: Active Support and various self-management and cognitive strategies
Learning outcomes
On completion of this topic you will be expected to be able to:

Implement strategies of instruction such as Systematic Instruction and Video Modelling
2.
Identify instructional methods that promote generalisation and maintenance of learned skills
3.
Determine the appropriate procedures that can be used to develop functional daily living skills
4.
Critically evaluate various instructional procedures and assess those that may provide the desired outcome/s
