Aims

This topic aims to equip students to better understand the different modalities of governance utilised at different levels. They will explore governance theory and practice in the interests of developing the knowledge and skills to implement governance strategies and identify the best fit for governance approaches to particular public policy problems.

On completion of this topic you will be expected to be able to:

Critically evaluate and discuss diverse theories of governance

Assess current issues facing governance at the local, national, regional, post national and global level
3.
Appraise and work with different forms of governance practice to improve governance outcomes
