This topic aims to:

  • Provide students with thorough knowledge of the legal, ethical and practical aspects of prescribing, posterior segment disease management and ophthalmic procedures
  • Develop skills to enable the management of anterior eye conditions, eye wall and intraocular inflammation, glaucoma, post-operative care of the cataract and refractive surgery patient and participation in shared care models
