Aims
This topic aims to:
- Introduce students to a comprehensive body of works within a specific area of screen history, criticism or theory
- Advance students' comprehension of the historical, theoretical and critical debates pertinent to their chosen area of inquiry
- Develop students' abilities to undertake independent research
Learning outcomes
On completion of this topic you will be expected to be able to:
1.
Demonstrate a detailed knowledge of the media productions in their chosen area of study
2.
Analyse the various discursive practices involved in the production of a body of screen work, as well as the critical and theoretical debates associated with them
3.
Independently pursue to completion a planned course of study
