Aims
This topic aims to:
- Provide students with the opportunity to investigate and develop their understanding and skills in a chosen media
- Provide students with the opportunity to develop an understanding of the issues and concepts in the visual arts
- Introduce students to contemporary issues in visual art
- Provide students with the experience of planning, promoting and presenting an exhibition of their work

Assumed knowledge
High standard of personal literacy and basic computer literacy. Design and drawing fundamentals and experience in a variety of visual media.
