This topic gives students the opportunity to explore a professional workplace of their choice within the tourism and events industry. Students apply their academic skills and knowledge to a real-world workplace and gain a clearer insight into the day-to-day functioning of a tourism/events business. This learning experience allows students to reflect upon their skills and capabilities and evaluate if these skills and capabilities are corresponding to the needs of the industry.
