Aims

This topic aims to: 

  • Provide an understanding of how X-Ray, IR, Raman, UV/vis and NMR techniques work and are used to give molecular information
  • Provide laboratory experience in using the above techniques
  • Give students skills and expertise in the analysis of spectral data for the identification of molecular structure

Learning outcomes

On completion of this topic you will be expected to be able to:
