Aims
This topic aims to:
- Introduce students to a range of historically and stylistically significant 20th and 21st Century theatrical texts including film and demonstrate their implications in performance as well as their cultural contribution
- Explore the history of representations of gender on stage
- Develop students' critical thinking and their ability to consider key issues in both group settings and individual study
- Develop students' research and writing skills in a variety of forms.
