Aims
This topic aims to:
- Increase students' knowledge and appreciation of a range of ways theatre and the arts can be implemented in educational contexts
- Introduce students to the policies, legal and ethical requirements for artists working in schools
- Enable students to collaboratively explore facilitation techniques in workshops that integrate theory and practice
- Encourage students to adopt a reflexive, inquiry-based approach to devising performances for educational contexts
- Provide opportunities for students to develop practical skills in preparing, rehearsing and presenting a performance
