Overview
This topic will consider gender mainstreaming as a strategy for the achievement of gender equality. In order to develop a critical understanding of 'doing' gender mainstreaming, students will investigate how this strategy has been adopted by international agencies, non-government, government and community based organisations, including cooperatives and social enterprises.

Aims
This topic aims to provide opportunities for students to develop foundational skills and model professional competencies to mainstream gender into organisations, policies, plans and projects through the application of selected gender mainstreaming tools to case studies from Australia and other countries across the globe.
