This topic aims to:
- Explore the dominant theories of learning that are prevalent in educational discourses
- Investigate the notion of 'new learning' by considering what makes learning different in the 21st century
- Consider how we can create learning contexts for multimodal learning in contemporary times

It is expected that the students will be able to access the online learning modules, be able to work independently and contribute to group (online) learning contexts.
They will also need to be able to implement their learning module with children either in home or school/ centre contexts.
