This topic aims to:
- Develop an awareness of academic protocol and tradition in the field of research
- Build research discipline awareness
- Build a philosophical awareness of research design
- Develop a theoretical awareness and proficiency in one theoretical approach
- Establish the capacity to consider a social and educational issue and refine it as a research issue
- Develop the links between academic research and professional practice
