Aims

This topic aims to explore innovation and its interplay with Industry 4.0, the fourth industrial revolution. Advances in technology along with the merging of automation and digitalization technologies are changing the fundamentals of manufacturing and service provision and the way organisations innovate. This unit will equip students with innovative thinking, an understanding of Industry 4.0 readiness in organisations, innovation capabilities and industry 4.0 in the supply chain.
