Aims

This topic aims to:

  • Introduce more complex and varied health research information sources, including international databases, NGO and government sites
  • Develop students' skills in research design, including understanding and utility of qualitative and quantitative investigations
  • Develop students' skills in critical appraisal of research
  • Explore the ethical obligations of researchers
  • Further develop students' abilities in critical consumption of health research
