Aims
This topic aims to:
- Develop student’s capacity to evaluate how the legal services sector is regulated and managed
- Enable students to critique existing legal business models and design new variations to those models
- Provide students with the capability to develop the legally relevant business acumen needed to thrive in contemporary practice, whether as a legal professional or as a non legal professional engaged in practice management or legal operations
Learning outcomes
On completion of this topic you will be expected to be able to:

Determine relevant factual, legal and policy issues by undertaking advanced and in depth research

Solve novel problems and evaluate complex issues relating to the business of the law and legal business structures through the contextual application of legal and business knowledge
