Aims

This topic aims to extend the student's ability to apply the Occupational Therapy Practice Framework and key theoretical approaches to practice, and to develop and refine core skills in occupational therapy practice.

Learning outcomes

On completion of this topic you will be expected to be able to:

Determine an evaluation and intervention plan to support occupational engagement using the Occupational Therapy Practice Framework and other key practice models
2.
Demonstrate a range of occupational therapy evaluation skills at an intermediate level
3.
Demonstrate clinical reasoning at a novice level through analysis and application of case scenarios
4.
Apply reflective practice skills to analyse and consider client/consumer needs
5.
Demonstrate practicing in a culturally responsive manner through application of occupational therapy case scenarios
