Aims
This topic aims to apply occupational therapy evaluation and intervention skills in a practice setting and develop relevant competencies for practice as an entry-level therapist.
Learning outcomes
On completion of this topic you will be expected to be able to:

Demonstrate intermediate level behaviours and skills determined by the practice setting, that indicate competence in core areas of occupational therapy practice as identified in the Student Practice Evaluation Form - Revised Second Edition these include: practice in a professional and ethical manner; effectively and respectfully communicate with services users, their significant others, team members, supervisors, other students, and other professionals; develop and maintain appropriate documentation; apply principles of evidence-informed practice, critical and reflective thinking, and clinical reasoning skills to plan, implemental, and evaluate service delivery; engage in supervision and individual reflection to identify, plan, and implement appropriate strategies to improve clinical practice
