Aims

This topic aims to provide the student with an integration of all the paramedic related skills, knowledge and attitudes, in order to enable them to graduate with confidence and a thorough grounding in paramedic practice in preparation for their internship. Specifically, the topic aims to develop competency in pre-hospital emergency patient care, effective scene management and leadership skills. The topic will also acquaint the students with the knowledge of legislation, policies, procedures and guidelines that are typically applicable to working in the pre-hospital service industry.

Formulate and execute patient care standards which reflect the expectations of practicing and commencing paramedics
