This topic will enable students to gain an understanding of the core aspects of interprofessional teamwork and collaborative client centred practice within contemporary health services. This will cover a range of practice settings including rural and remote, and culturally responsive practice.

Aims
This topic aims to introduce students to interprofessional teamwork using applied examples from a range of clinical practice settings. Interprofessional competencies and health behaviour change will be introduced and applied. Culturally responsive practice will be examined and linked to competency standards.
Learning outcomes
On completion of this topic you will be expected to be able to:

Demonstrate application of interprofessional competencies across a range of settings
2.
Critically reflect on the application and experience of collaborative practice across a range of settings
3.
Understand the importance of, and critically reflect on, culturally responsive practice particularly in reference to working with Indigenous Australians
4.
Integrate knowledge and apply theories related to health behaviour change, client centred care and interprofessional practice
