The topic aims to continue to equip students with the skills that will enable them to communicate independently with native speakers of Spanish. There will be an emphasis on the production of articulate language, both formally and informally, in an extended range of contexts, including personal and academic situations.

Aims

This topic aims to:

Consolidate and expand students' knowledge of Spanish acquired at previous levels, with the introduction of new grammatical structures and vocabulary
Allow students to further develop their communicative competence through participation in activities involving group or pair interaction
Develop active participation in collaborative learning and foster independent language learning
Expand students ability to recognise and interpret socio-cultural aspects of the Spanish-speaking world
