Overview

In this topic students will produce a major project demonstrating practise led research in the field of entertainment design. Students will manage their own production under supervision of an academic staff member from VEED, including pre-production planning and collaboration with key project personnel.

Aims

This topic aims to:

  • Develop students' producing skills required for major projects
  • Develop students' skills in creative, aesthetic and managerial problem solving
  • Develop skills in the practical application of creative research
  • Develop students' skills in successful collaboration in project production

Learning outcomes

On completion of this topic you will be expected to be able to:
1.
Create a production process (including both the scheduling and managing of it) in the field of digital entertainment design
2.
Support the completion of the proposed project to final production stage
3.
Appraise and manage all logistical tasks required for the project, including risk assessment
4.
Demonstrate an understanding of pre-production planning
