This topic aims to:
- Introduce classical ballet exercises, concepts, and terminology at a developing level
- Build on the dancer’s flexibility, strength and coordination in the technique
- Encourage a self-disciplined approach to training
- Instil critical thinking about contemporary dance practice and theory
- Connect the processes of analysis to the artist’s practice
