Aims
This topic aims to:
- Assist the student to identify idiosyncratic habitual patterns that limit the expressive potential of body and voice
- Assist the student to develop the ability to embody breath, muscularity, and resonance in the moment of speaking
- Assist the student in beginning the process of investigating the body’s diverse range of psycho-physical expression
- Assist the student to develop an embodied understanding of the concepts of Weight, Space, Time, and Flow
Learning outcomes
On completion of this topic you will be expected to be able to:

Identify an awareness of breathing that is responsive to, and in support of, impulse and release

Locate connection between breath, sound imagery, and movement

Demonstrate an embodied understanding of the concepts of Weight, Space, Time and Flow
