Aims

This topic aims to:

  • Allow students to prepare a range of short-format scenes/monologues (live and digital spaces) to showcase to industry
  • Allow students to consolidate and enrich the skills and artistry acquired through the degree
  • Allow students to bridge the gap between training and industry
  • Provide students with strong industry contacts

Learning outcomes

On completion of this topic you will be expected to be able to:

Produce multiple scenes and/or monologues in both digital and live environments
2.
Integrate psycho-physical, interpretive skills into sustained, self-directed short format performance tasks
3.
Create short format performance projects meeting a range of industry needs in terms of style and genre
4.
Combine acquired psycho-physical, interpretive and performance skills across an eclectic range of tasks in order to develop agility, conviction and self-sufficiency in the industry space
5.
Articulating an advanced knowledge of acting practices
