Aims
The topic aims to:
- Introduce pre-service teachers to a range of historical, theorical, and philosophical perspectives in Early Childhood Education
- Provide pre-service teachers with the skills necessary to understand and interpret the socio-political intentions of these perspectives and their implications for practice
- Document a teaching philosophy statement informed by historical, comparative, and contemporary Australian and international Early Childhood perspectives
