Aims
This topic aims to:
- Equip preservice teachers to use research informed practices in assessment, planning and implementation of positive behaviour support
- Cultivate understanding of educational implications for individuals with disabilities who exhibit behaviours of concern
- Promote creative and reflective practice through design of ethical approaches to promoting positive behaviour
Learning outcomes
On completion of this topic you will be expected to be able to:

Discuss how the characteristics of diverse learners are considered in the design of a Behaviour Support Plan
2.
Decide preventive practices that address diverse learning needs in inclusive and specialised settings
3.
Analyse data and identify the variables affecting behaviour

Prepare Behaviour Support Plans that consider the classroom ecology and address prevention, teaching and responding to behaviour
