Aims
This topic aims to establish integrated professional knowledge and competencies in the definition, implementation, measurement, management, change and improvement of the software engineering process for the success of all stakeholders. Another aim is to introduce the currently applicable paradigms and tools in software process engineering and apply these to a put-it-together project that encompasses all lifecycle activities of software engineering.
Learning outcomes
On completion of this topic you will be expected to be able to:

Understand the ubiquitousness of process and the benefit of process improvement frameworks

Develop an ability to tailor/adapt process and tools to suit specific project needs and contexts

Evaluate and select strategies to deal with various issues associated with process implementation
