This topic provides students with the opportunity to participate in a short-term mobility project, relevant to their particular program of study. Placements will be dependent on the availability of suitable international hosts and mobility schemes and need to be arranged with the topic coordinator prior to enrolment.

Aims
This topic aims to:
- Allow the students to gain a deeper understanding of their host country, its culture and/or language
- Further develop a student's practical and theoretical knowledge in an area related to their degree program
- Provide students with the opportunity to develop ongoing networks outside of Australia, related to their degree program
Learning outcomes
On completion of this topic you will be expected to be able to:

Assess how, social, cultural, political, legal, religious and/or environmental issues affect the way in which professionals operate overseas, or with overseas organisations
2.
Appraise how to operate effectively in a cross-cultural workplace
3.
Compare major social, cultural, or political issues relating to the country visited with those in Australia
4.
Justify how the practical and theoretical knowledge in an area of your degree has been enhanced by your experience
