Aims

This topic aims to introduce advanced research and project design principles for advanced students in the humanities and social sciences, offering participants the knowledge and skills required to undertake and complete their Honours thesis.

Learning outcomes

On completion of this topic you will be expected to be able to:

Discuss the expectations and design principles of advanced research in humanities and social sciences
2.
Design appropriate Honours research in your discipline
3.
Model preliminary research at a high level using advanced critical writing skills
4.
Formulate literature reviews using practical research skills and academic arguments
