Aims

This topic aims to:

  • Introduce students to the basics of underwater techniques for archaeology and marine science
  • Present students with opportunities to apply their practical and interpretive skills during problem-solving exercises
  • Provide students with a certification that aligns to recognised standards for industry recognition

Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible to enrol in this topic, students:

  • Must be registered and have an active status on the Flinders University Dive Register
  • Must hold a Rescue Diver certification or equivalent (by recognised dive certifying agency)
  • Must be able to provide logged evidence of 40 logged hours of diving
  • Must be a competent swimmer (able to pass a timed swim test)

Fees
