Overview

This topic explores physical activity behaviour and its association with various dimensions of health. Students will be involved in physical activity measurement, evaluation and research.

Aims

Students will be provided with the opportunity to:

Explore physical activity behaviour using a behavioural epidemiological framework
Develop skills in physical activity data collection and analysis
Develop literature search, review and critique skills
Participate in physical activities designed to promote lifelong participation in physical activity
