Overview

The topic is designed for students who have had no or limited formal instruction in the Modern Greek language. Students receive a systematic introduction to the Modern Greek language in order to gradually develop and improve their communication and written skills.

Aims

This topic aims to:

Introduce students to the Modern Greek language through systematic and progressive reading, writing and listening activities
Develop students' oral skills in order to communicate in an elementary way on everyday-life topics
Introduce students to a selective historical and cultural perspective of Greece
Encourage students to develop critical skills through cross-cultural and cross-linguistic approaches
