Aims
The aim of this topic is to:
- Provide students with an opportunity to consolidate knowledge and clinical midwifery skills for the provision of comprehensive, evidence based midwifery care in preparation for transition to professional practice
Learning outcomes
On completion of this topic you will be expected to be able to:

Demonstrate professional and clinical preparedness for working as a midwife

Critically assess and reflect on current and future learning needs that will enhance professional development as a midwife

Critically evaluate contemporary midwifery practice and identify opportunities for change
