Aims
This topic aims to develop the students’ application of the Occupational Therapy Practice Framework and key theoretical approaches to practice. Students will develop and refine core skills in occupational therapy practice in areas of physical rehabilitation.
Learning outcomes
On completion of this topic you will be expected to be able to:
1.
Analyse case scenarios applying relevant models of practice to develop evaluation and intervention plans in the context of selected conditions and practice environments
2.
Demonstrate a range of occupational therapy evaluation skills at an intermediate level
3.
Demonstrate clinical reasoning and practice skills relevant to working with individuals in the areas of cognitive and physical rehabilitation
4.
Apply reflective practice skills to analyse and consider the cognitive and physical rehabilitation needs of clients
5.
Demonstrate practicing in a culturally responsive manner through the application of complex occupational therapy case scenarios within the areas of cognitive and physical rehabilitation
