Aims
This topic is intended to provide knowledge and skills required by researchers within the science disciplines. This topic aims to provide students with:
- The ability to plan a research project
- Skills to formulate a research question/hypothesis/plan
- An understanding of the process of developing a research project proposal
- Strategies to select, evaluate, synthesise and discuss relevant literature
- An understanding of the ethical considerations for research
- Guidance on effective presentation of research information to a professional or academic audience
- An understanding of intellectual property and data management within a research project
