Aims

This topic aims to:

  • Develop in students a working vocabulary relevant to coding/programming within a game context
  • Introduce students to the use of coding within game engines in the preproduction and production of digital games
  • Provide students with the skills to create working user interface and game mechanic examples within a variety of game engines
  • Explore the use of plugins, add ons and templates in the game production pipeline
