Overview
This topic allows students to gain work experience in the creative arts and game industries by taking up an industry simulated project, or by conceiving and producing a creative project to a professional level.
Aims
This topic aims to:
- Provide students with work experience, contacts in the industry, exposure to current practices in the production and management of projects in the game industry
- Assist students in identifying a career path and beginning the transition from study to employment
- Produce a significant creative work to a professional standard
Learning outcomes
On completion of this topic you will be expected to be able to:

Critically appraise professional practice and pipelines in the game industry
2.
Plan and produce a major creative work in games or digital media, and be able to demonstrate an analytical understanding of its potential industrial context and process of construction
3.
Articulate your knowledge of best practice in professional game production environments
